Our Story

An Island Institution, Refreshed

We started Balboa Island Market & Grill in May of 2020, at the beginning of the pandemic. Our goal was — and is — to provide essential market services to the residents of Balboa Island.

We want to be known for the store that offers those last-minute items you forgot. Or maybe you just want to come in for a nice cold drink or your favorite snack.

Alongside the market, our grille serves a variety of both American and Mexican food choices, made fresh daily from 8 AM to 2 PM — call ahead and it's ready when you walk in.
